After the fall of the Repliforce, Maverick Hunter had to find a suitable leader that would guide them to the Mavericks and keep everything in line. They have chosen a reploid named Signas.

Signas has guided the Hunters through the Eurasia incidaent, the Zero nightmare, the red Alert Crisis and Sigma's attack on the Earth. He also provides the support for MegaMan X, Zero and eventually, Axl.
