NumberMan.EXE is a NetNavi from the MegaMan Battle Network series. He is operated by Higsby and was once also a member of the criminal organization WWW.

NumberMan is the second boss you fight after he and Higsby break into the school computer system in the name of WWW. After defeated, with the help of Lan, the two of them decide to leave their criminal ways behind and open up a Battle Chip shop in ACDC Town.

Higsby goes on a quest around the world to find new rare Battle Chips, so his chip shop is closed throughout the game. Instead, NumberMan can be found on the net in certain area as a merchant that sells Battle Chips he has come across on his journey.

NumberMan appears as a part of the City Battle Tournament in Blue Moon version. Before MegaMan fights him in the tournament, he must help Higsby and NumberMan spread the word about Higsby's chip shop so they can boost sales and avoid being bought out. Upon defeating NumberMan, MegaMan can use Number Soul.

In both versions, Higsby's chip shop is used as a Mission Control after Nebula hacks into Scilab's computers. In Team Colonel version, Higsby and NumberMan join Team Colonel as a way for them to boost their confidence. Upon completing NumberMan's arc, MegaMan once again unlocks Number Soul.
